Frequently Asked Questions
What’s your standard rate and what does that include?
My service rates are $130 per person however this can vary if you require mobile service. All of my makeup applications include complimentary lashes, meaning you will not be charged extra for this service nor will it be deducted should you not wish to have them. You can also add a Shanghai Suzy lipstick to your makeup should you need it for $19.95. You can view all my rates here.
Can you travel for my wedding day?
Yes, I am a mobile makeup artist and can travel to the venue where you will be getting ready either on your wedding day or for your special occasion. Most locations in the Wollongong area do not incur and fee for wedding parties larger than 4 faces or if you attend my home studio for a special occasion makeup, however if you have less than four in your wedding day or you need special occasion to be mobile the price &/or travel will vary and apply.
Can I book a wedding makeup trial appointment?
I defiantly recommend doing a trial before your wedding day. This will help to ease any concerns you may have about the application and get to meet me and see if I am the right fit for your special day. During this time we can also chat about your wedding day timeline and any further details I might need to know about.
Do you have a portfolio?
My most up to date images are on my instagram page however not all of my makeups are here. I do hundreds of makeups a year and can always tailor something to suit you.
What beauty products do you use?
Anyone with problematic skin knows that the wrong product can wreak havoc on your face. I will always check with you about your skin and concerns before starting your makeup application. This will give me a good idea of what products to use on your face to give you the best outcome. I have cruelty-free brands and some all-natural cosmetics but if you have any concerns or known allergies please let me know or get in contact to discuss.
How can you make my wedding makeup last and look good in photos?
Your wedding day will be a long one, filled with emotions and probably a healthy dose of tears. I will try my best to unsure that everything I use will be tailored to suit your skin type, however the skin you have will show through no matter how amazing my makeup artist are so I recommend in investing in some good skincare or salon facial treatments prior to your wedding day or special event. This will make the world of difference to your over all look and longevity of your makeup application.
Are you able to do my bridal party’s makeup as well?
If you would like your bridesmaids to have a cohesive look having the same wedding makeup artist is key. Having me handle for your entire party means that you won’t have to put your faith in more than one person. If however you have a large bridal party this might require another makeup artist to help due to issues such as time constraints etc. I know a number of other talented makeup artist who can always help out.
How long does it take?
I usually leave around one hour per person, this normally gives me plenty of one on one time to tailor a makeup to suit the individual and keep you running on time. Bridal trials usually take an hour and a half.
